This month in pop, 5 years ago: October 2006
We considered revamping some of our features, we asked you what you wanted (you may still respond), and one of the first changes is turning our ‘Today 15/10/5/1 Years Ago’ charts into monthly montages.
You seemed to enjoy the first 10 years ago one, so here’s the first one for this month 5 years back. For younger people probably just as much of a nostalgia trip, and for the older viewers still a nice reminder of some old hits, flops by big acts, and perhaps some nice little songs you missed out on the first time around. Being edited in order of chart appearance somehow this one turned out with all the biggest songs on the end of the video, so be sure to stay tuned for those!
